CHAPTER 94 ALEX'S POV The music came to a stop and the door slid open with a ding. Cold air rushed from across the corridor, biting the skin exposed in my folded sleeves. I ran a finger down the cuts on my knuckles, took in a deep breath and stepped out of the elevator. It was quiet. Even my footsteps felt hushed on the lush carpet beneath me.
