KYLIE’s POV
Although Elijah and I were not on good terms, and even though I had promised myself to stay away from him, I just couldn’t bring myself to avoid his game night. So I decided to come, with the plan to leave as soon as it was over. I would have even remained anonymous if I could help it.
But he noticed me at the very start of the game, although I didn’t know my best to act uninterested.
It was hard though, seeing as he played so well. He seemed to push himself so hard. So much so that I worried he would break down. But he didn’t. Instead, he won and brought home the trophy.
At the end of the game, I packed up my stuff and prepared to leave before we bumped into each other, but I guess I was not fast enough.
I didn’t bump into him. Nothing like that. But I did get to see him…
