KYLIE’s POV
I made quick work of cleaning up Elijah’s temple, before getting up to leave.
“What? Ky, where are you going?” Elijah questioned, reaching out his hand to keep me from leaving, but I frowned at his attempt to block my escape.
“Isn’t it obvious? I’m trying to get away from you.” I said and tugged my hand out of his reach. I turned just in time to see Lisa approaching us and I genuinely felt myself grow cold and angry.
I truly hope she felt secure in whatever relationship she felt she was having with Elijah.
