Tori’s POV
I did not know what to say to that. The answer to the question she asked lingered in my brain, and a part of me toyed with telling her the truth — that stupid, shameless part that wanted to see if she could talk to Alpha Adrian. Get him to love me.
But when I sat inside that car, in the silence and awkwardness that followed my stupid decisions, I had vowed not to get myself in the same situation with him any longer.
