34. Revisiting Old Demons

I set a hard glare on the man I once fell for all those years ago.  The man that would rather rape his girlfriend in front of a pack than die with his honor still intact.  Anger boils my blood.  I want to kill them all.  “Go Gladdis,” I order out.   I let go of her wrist, but I feel she’s still behind me.  I turn my head slightly, so I can keep an eye on all the bastards attempting to surround me.  “Go!” “Luna…..,” she says softly.  Her eyes hold so much worry, and my heart sinks.  Swallowing the fear that's starting to build up, I plea to my friend.  “Please go Gladdis- protect the others.” She nods sadly and backs away.  When her back turns, she starts running.  One of the assholes in wolf form attempts to go after her but I intercept and kick him in the ribs, sending him 10 feet
