Each day, I have a small glimpse of hope. Hope that Jo will be back with me. And after yesterday, I feel even more confident. She’s the one that kissed me, and I’ll be damned if it wasn’t one of the best feelings in the world. To have my mate want me after I broke her trust, it meant everything. But as soon as it started, it ended just as quickly. I guess just hearing the sound of my voice brought her back to reality. Of course, it hurt, but when she clung to me, telling me she needed more time, tells me she hasn’t given up on us.
