Peter stared at Janet through the rearview mirror of the car as he stepped on the brake and asked her, "Are you sure you're coming down?"
Janet replied, "Yes, sir. My friend doesn't know her way, and she might get lost."

Janet pushed her side door open and got out of the car. She walked back to meet Lara.
