A soft knock came from Allison's door, her mother's voice following. "Allison?" She tried to answer but had to clear her throat through the lump that still held residence over her vocal chords. "What?" "There's someone here to see you." Something tightened in her chest, and she lifted her head just a bit to look over the covers. Her mother frowned. "Sebastian?" The small flare of hope deflated, her head dropping back to the pillow. "What does he want?" Instead of an answer, a deep voice murmured something before the door to her room opened. After Sebastian had dropped her off, she'd paused just long enough to tell her parents that she was back to living with them before trudging up the stairs to her room. She didn't even bother getting out of her clothes before burrowing down into h
