Returning from the washroom, I saw Jacob sitting on my bed beside the suit for the wedding ceremony. He said as a best man he was here to aid in my dressing.
"Sylvia just called to find out how you were doing this morning. I told her you were fine and were taking your shower."
"And what did she say?"
"She said she will meet up with you at the auditorium," Jacob replied and I sat down.
Yesterday I almost thought she meant she was getting out of my house. Not knowing, her Dad had told her it wasn't right for the bride to be with the groom a night before the wedding. So she had to leave, that's why she left.
