I baited my lashes faintly and I realized I was in the hospital. I drove too fast when I heard on the radio that the wedding was already in session. Tears began to run down my cheeks, it hurt to know the man I loved with every fiber of my being was getting married to another woman.
I closed my eyes, now there was nothing that I could do. And I was also feeling mild pains in my abdomen. I lost my baby's father, and I couldn't afford to lose my baby. What would I live for, I would die.
I heard the door open and I saw a nurse. She placed a bottle of water on the table and began to walk away. I felt the need to call her and ask if my baby was okay but I disregarded it. I would wait for the doctor to come.
