Serena had been crying because of her love and longing for Benjamin who had seemingly moved on. That being said, he was not in the wrong. She had asked him to move on, pushed him away from her when he found his mate… what was there to blame? She had no right, absolutely none.
She considered acting like she didn’t see the couple but couldn’t avoid his inquisitive stare. She even blushed to her utter and complete dismay as she came to a halt in front of them.
“Hey,” she greeted. And she hated how timid she sounded.
