Alaric's POV
I ran as fast as my feet could go. I will see her. I will be near enough to smell her. I can live with that. As long as I'll be able to see her, I'm okay with it. I am now entering the Moon Stone Pack territory, the guards just nodded at me, and I responded with a nod of my own.
I asked one of the guards to show me Gabby's room. He pointed at the room on the second floor in the right-wing. Perfect, it has a balcony. I can climb from there and take a peek, maybe watch her sleep.
Her room is illuminated with her bedside lamp. It a good thing her balcony was dark. She won't be able to see me, but I can see her clearly. She is lying on her bed facing the balcony, but I feel a stab in my heart when I saw her crying.
