Ava's P.O.V
Her words took me by surprise. She was right. We never had the privilege of talking. Hudson had told me his mother was a tough woman to understand...
"Thank you, Mrs Blakely, it means alot to me."
I said.
"Sarah... I am not sure what Hudson told you about me, but I have been through the same thing you have, and it has never been easy... since then I have closed myself off to anyone that came to close to me to afraid that if I opened myself, if I allowed myself to love someone like that again I would only end up getting hurt again."
She whispered, she had this far-away look.
"I am sorry, I didn't know. Hudson never told me."
"I suppose he didn't. It happened after Hudson. I am not even sure he remembers."
