"Why are you here, and don't tell it's a visit of courtesy."
Louisa said, as soon as she walked out of her room through the back door of her room. Her room was the most mediocre of the huge mansion, almost like a servants room in a more amelioralised way. But she didn't much care as it was a conveniency for her, at least, for the moment.
"If you don't have anything to say, then you might as well find your way back."
"Miss Woods is hostile towards me, but I come in peace.", Helios had said with all sincerity, but he could feel that Louisa wasn't convinced about his sincerity.
"I see.", Louisa replied nonchalantly
"You don't seem convinced."
"Coming from a blind guy who was able to follow me back to my home, do you think I should feel relaxed and less cautious?"
Cautiousness was a human psychology quite normal, but Helios could feel that her rate of cautiousness Louisa had,was the type that people who had been betrayed to a certain extent. And to a certain extent he could understand her, he didn't need his eyes to tell him, but all the senses he had gathered from being blind all his life.
Reading people's emotions had become a piece of cake for him, as he had trained himself over years in order to survive the worlds cruelty.
~Helios exhaled.
"Miss Woods is right to be cautious or even wary about me, but I do come in peace."
"Just how sincere are you?"
"Lewis!", Helios ordered and without budging, his most trusted guard came forward and handed to him a bank card, which he directed towards Louisa without hesitation. It was amazing how he could tell her direction without even interoging his faithful guard.
From her observation and his pulse that she had checked previously she could tell that his blindness wasn't recent, but he was actually born blind. Probably the cause of the poisson in his body.
"Here is my gratitude for helping me earlier in the woods when the had poisson acted up."
He passed the card to her and without hesitation she took the bank card.
"There's three million in the card and here is the password.", Helios took another piece of paper from Lewis that he handed to Louisa. Three million wasn't a small amount, considering her current situation she would indeed need the money, though it wasn't enough, hopefully in the future she could obtain morethan just three million with her skills and talents.
"If you think it isn't enough, I can add more."
"Three million isn't any small amount, but I guess for a wealthy one like you, it's really nothing. Now that you had paid your gratitude, can you go straight to the point.
She saw through him without any difficulty when he thought he had been careful with his words. But it turned out that she had already known the reason for his visit, so Helios decided to go straight to the point.
"If that's the case, then I won't beat around the bush. Miss Woods seems to know a lot about the poisson in me, so..."
"...So you want me to cure your poisson.", Louisa cut him off and concluded his request even before he could say further. But that was also because she had already known it right from the beginning.
"I really appreciate that you think highly of me, but I'm afraid you knocked at the wrong door. Purple hell poisson is a very rare type of poisson that rarely appears on humans. People affected by it would be disabled and suffer a terrible headache each month. It's a strong poisson and you should have died at the age of eighteen, but you survived till now, meaning you have a good doctor by your side. So why do you still need me?"
"You're indeed right, my doctor is extraordinary because he kept me alive till now, but he's reached his limit. I believe with your skills you could tell that my life is at it's end."
It was sad, but indeed true that his life was coming to an end, he probably had less than three months to live. She could prolong his life with some medicines and acupuncture, but as for his poisson, she was still clueless about the cure.
"You're really cunning to use pity on me."
"I dare not, I just hope Miss Louisa could consider. If you can help me, then I'm ready to respond to any of your request."
"You're really uncanny, but I really have no knowledge about the cure to your poisson."
'She had no knowledge of how to save him.', though Helios had already decided to put in his heart that his poisson had no cure and he was bound to die sooner or later. Still, his hope rose up when he met Louisa and now...
"I really have no idea on how to deal with your poisson, but I can prolong your life."
"Really?", his hope rose up again and the gloom that had taken over him soon dispersed. It was like the sun had suddenly rose in his life and even a little hope could make him feel so much warmth.
"I can do that for you and as for the poisson, I'm not pretty confident."
She wasn't confident if she could find a cure for his poisson, but just the fact that she indirectly expressed her need to research on it already made him happy.
"Thanks for accepting my request."
"Don't thank me yet, I still haven't done anything.", She turned her back on Helios who hadn't moved a step forward or backward since he arrived. He was dress in long sleeve white shirt and a pair of blue pants. He had long l
blonde hair reaching his shoulders, but he had tied it into a messy ponytail. His vacuum emerald green eyes stood still, and unable to see what was happening around him, but he could feel Louisa moving further away from him.
"I'll meet you again in two days, then we can talk about the details." Once again she went further away from him, but he stopped her with few sentences.
"Who are you, you're really different from the past?"
Those few words came as a blow that stopped her. Silence soon took over the whole environment as only the swift sound of the wind blew her hair and her ears hadn't been spared. There was obviously no echo, but his words repeated in her mind like an echo.
'She was different.'
