"Damn b***h!"

Yasmine flung a vase towards the door and breaking it with the other broken vases that lay on the floor with others.

"Miss, please calm down, if you keep breaking the vases, old madam would get really mad at...."

"How dare you.", The loud sound of a slap echoed in the room and the poor maid who only had to assist Yasmine was frightened. Her face was swollen and had a little cut due to the slap.

"How dare an ordinary maid order me, are you seeking for death!", Yasmine yelled, causing the maid to flop in her knees in fear of receiving worst punishment from her angry mistress.

"Please, forgive me, Miss, I dare not."

"Useless....", Yasmine hit another container of oil that lay on the nightstand, adding it to the other broken pieces on the floor. But the piece this time cut the maid's face, yet she didn't budge.

"What's happening.", Alina came in to find the broken pieces of glasses and the maid kneeling in front of Yasmine's and blood oozing out of her face.

~Alina sighed ans chased away the maid who had been kneeling, not forgetting to warn her from repeating a single word of what had happened in Yasmine's room.

"Yasmine, how many times had I told you to control your anger, what if grand ma sees this ?"

"Who cares about the old fogey, she couldn't even punish that useless trash, after all what we did, she was conquered by a simple pomade."

"Watch your mouth Yasmine, I've told you that walls have ears. You can't just randomly spout such words."

"But I'm so angry, why didn't grand ma punish that dummy!"

"Because she found no reason to do so."

"What do you mean, she obviously neglected grand ma and went out."

Alina couldn't help but being more disappointed about her sister.It is true that at first Louisa was a dummy and her level of intelligence was quite low, but the situation had suddenly changed.

"Forget about what had happened today, you just have to know that before saying or doing anything, you have to be careful with Louisa. I don't know what had happened to her, but she suddenly became wise."

'Wiser than you.', she could have told Yasmine, but she didn't. She still needed Yasmine fight against Louisa, so they had to live in harmony, at least until they had completely defeated Louisa.

Louisa had declared war to them, so she had no intentions of falling back, no matter what. She couldn't lose to a dummy, she thought.

"The toxins in my body disappear in a week or less."

Louisa said as soon as she took a gulp of the medicine she had prepared for herself. Luckily the Iand had numerous rare herbs which could help her find the best herbs for her body.

Today she won the first step of the battle, but she couldn't relax her vigilance. Her sisters had been angered, so there would try other schemes against her. She only had to prepare herself and use the schemes to her advantage. If she could win the old madam's recognition, then her life would slowly climb up to the peak.

"I'm still too weak.", Louisa said with regrets as soon as she sat on her bed. If only she could open an enterprise of pharmaceuticals and make her name known, then she wouldn't need to struggle for favor. But in this world her father wasn't therw nor her grand mother. She had to accept that she was alone, but not weak.

"Louisa, can I come in?", Louisa was interrupted by the sudden knock from her mother. And even if she didn't want to see her, she had no choice but to let her in.

"Louisa, are you still mad at me?", Annie asked as soon as she for in but was ignored by Louisa who was taking some few notes in her book.

"Louisa, I know it was my fault, I couldn't help when your grand mother treated you that way. It was my fault for being absent all these years, but I'm really powerless."

There was no doubt that her mother was weak, she didn't need others to tell her about it. Over the years the other Louisa had been bullied but this so called mother never stepped once for her. All she did was feed her with a poisonous love and affection that caused her more harm. Even though this woman had thesame face with her late mother, their characters were completely different from each other.

"It was my fault for not being there, but believe me I really care about you and if I had the power then I would give you the life you want."

'The life I want?', the life of dependence just like her father had done, he protected her so much that she didn't see the evil around her. Before she could realize it, it was already late.No, Louisa didn't want that life anymore.

"Louisa, would you forgive mummy, I know I was wrong but..."

"I don't need your apologies, but your support. I need you to prove to me that I'm not alone in this house where I'm hated by my sisters and looked down upon by grand ma."

"You're right, I was careless and I'll try to remedy the situation, just tell me if you need anything."

Louisa said nothing more but nodded, hinting to Annie that she couldn't stay too long in her room, less her sisters got envious again. But it surely didn't change much, at the end she would still get troubles from each corners.

"Miss, your bath is ready ?", A maid not familiar to her came out of her bath room.

"Where is Ermine?", Louisa questioned with a frown. She already didn't trust Ermine at full, but if she had to deal with another that might be a spy from her sisters, then the future would be tough.

"Miss, when you went missing, Ermine was trashed into disclosing your location, but since she didn't say anything, she had been frequently trashed."

"So where is she now."

"She....she's unable to leave her bed."

"...I see.", Louisa didn't say any further, but walked towards her drawer and took out some drugs."

"Send it to her, you don't need to serve me in the future."

Without any more words the maid walked out of her room and she gave a sigh of relief and though she still didn't trust Ermine, she had to admit she had been the only one for the moment who had supported her and even got hurt for her. But could she trust again, Louisa thought and looked down her window where she saw him. It was the blind man whom she met in the woods.

"What's he doing here?"
