"How dare you!", her grand mother yelled furiously while her so called sisters smirks behind.

"Calm down grand ma, I'm sure sister had a reason to be absent at that moment.", Yasmine defended her, but this type of defence wasn't new to Louisa , thanks to Sara she could see through it like an opaque glass.

"Yes grand ma, Yasmine is right, sister had never been normal since birth and had always acted reckless of which I guess should be due to her illness. We can't blame her for not preparing for your arrival even when she was told."

Alina added and it was clear that her words were hinting towards the fact that Louisa deliberately decided to leave the house even when she was told about her grand mother's arrival. It would be easy to reject the faults she had been accused of and try to prove her innocence. But according to what Ermine had previously told her, the old woman in front of her didn't like Louisa.

She was a woman of pride and ambition, so in order to deal with her and her sisters, Louisa knew that they wasn't two ways towards success. If she could pass today with success, then it would help for her future successes. At this moment, she was on her on, not even her so called mother could go against the overbearing old hag.

"What do you have to say in order to defend yourself, do you plead guilty of your heinous crime."

The old madam said, but it was obvious that she wanted Louisa to defend herself. The other Louisa wasn't one who would agree to whatever she never did, even her past self would never plead guilty to a crime she hadn't committed.But life had taught her that in order to survive, compromise, adaptation and patience was necessary.

All these she had to thank Sara who compromised with her in order to reach her goal, she adapted to every situation at home and was extremely patient and at the end she won, at least for the moment.

"Don't be scared sister, confess your sins and grand ma might be lenient and reduce your punishment. You can't make her even more angry, it isn't good for her health."

"You're right, it was indeed my fault..."

"How dare you deny it, sister Alina obviously told you this morning that grand ma would be coming with a guest , but you choosed to rush out of the house and you dare....wait, what did you say?"

As Louisa had expected, Yasmine's reacted just like all her words had been written in a script. They obviously planned everything and if she had really argued to prove her innocence at that moment, then she would have been at lost. Alina was a meticulous schemer, while Yasmine was the executor, so she only blindly followed her sister without proper thoughts.

"What...did you just admit it?" , Yasmine asked unable to believe what her ears had just heard, it wasn't as Alina had declared previously. Their plans of attack always worked, but this time everything was different. She wasn't the only one to be stunned, but the old madam and her so called favorite grand daughter as well.

"You...you just admitted it just like that..."

"Yes, as my sisters had said, it was fault to make grandmother annoyed and I'll trouble grand ma to punish me for my lack of concentration and late arrival."

'Late arrival and lack of concentration?', Alina thought as she noticed that Louisa didn't accuse herself of any other crimes but her late arrival. She was indirectly pushing the other crimes towards her sisters. And for that reason,Alina had no intention of letting her off.

"Oh dear sister, it must have been hard on you to admit such crimes, but what exactly do you take grand,mother for. Do you think admitting that you were wrong would make us forget what you had done. Grand mother brought guest, but because you were absent she was embarrassed."

Alina declared playing with her hair and as for what was right or wrong, Louisa couldn't tell because she was absent at that moment.But considering the fact that the other Louisa was treated as a dummy, if a visitor was to appear, she would have had her locked in her room, just like always.

Luckily Ermine told her about it, if not she wouldn't have known how vicious this family was. She wouldn't care about their fight and schemes or what they thought. However, her past self also didn't pay close attention to her life and ended up killed, how could she make the same mistakes again.

"You unfilial child, you always disappoint me, you're going to be....", Louisa immediately cut the old woman off. If she had let her pronounce the last words, then her efforts would be wasted and her sisters would have won.

"Pardon my impertinence grandmother, I have no right to justify my wrongs, yet I still desire grandma to let me do so."

"What are you trying to do Louisa, are you trying to blame others for your crimes?", Yasmine commented and her words were full of poisonous daggers, but Louisa wasn't impressed so she continued, ignoring Yasmine.

"Grand ma, it was my fault to make you angry, but I really didn't mean it. I just woke up from my sick bed and my memories aren't really clear, but I learned from Ermine about your gracefullness and I quickly understood that my presence wouldn't be worth it if I don't show grand ma my worth and gratitude."

"What do you mean?", The old madam asked, which was a good sign, not only had the compliments of her mighty powers made her even more proud, but it relaxed her anger.

"I'm sorry I had to wonder arround to make you proud, but it didn't matter if I was weak, I only wanted to make grand ma proud."

By coughing and acting all frail, Louisa depicted a pitiful impression to others, bringing down old madam's level of hatred and will to punish her. But what was in the old madam's expression was just a twenty percent pity and the rest concerned her reputation. She was just scared of others hearing how she treated her grand daughter.

"If you're so weak, then why did you wonder outside, haven't I warned you never to leave the mansion as a noble lady."

'As a noble lady?', Louisa scoffed inwardly at the old madam's so called etiquette, she obviously didn't want others to meet her so called dummy grand daughter and bring disgrace to her so called reputation and fame.

"I'm sorry that my fuzzy memories are to be blamed, but when I recalled it was already late. And I got lost, but I encountered a herbalist on my way who asked for help. I helped and she granted me this...", Louisa took out a little container from her bag, in it was a solid green cream.

"What is this?", the old woman took it and curiously sniffed it. She wasn't disappointed by the smell, but it didn't quench her curiousity,however.

"The herbalist told me it was a very good pomade for headache, then I recalled Ermine told me grand ma had a little problem of migraine for a long time, so..."

"So you thought it would help mother, how kind of you Louisa.", Her mother finally spoke, and though she was trying to help. Louisa couldn't help but feel disappointed at her, so she ignored her.

"Is it effective, how are we sure it isn't some kind of poisson, after all, we don't know about this herbalist.", Alina added with no intention to let Louisa off so easily.

"I dare not lie to grand ma, sister, so I shall try it myself."

Louisa used the pommade before the old madam made use of it and as she had expected, old madam was hundred percent satisfied.

"It is indeed effective, did the herbalist give a name?"

"No, she only told me she was nicknamed Miracle R..."

"Miracle R?", Old madam questioned, but it didn't ring a bell, all she knew was that in her years of search she had never obtained such effective medicine for her migraine and today the one who was known as useless brought a treasure home.

"OK, I'll forgive you for today, you can all retire to your rooms."

"What, grand ma, are you really going to let her....", Alina immediately cut Yasmine off before she said anything that could pull them down together.

"Grand mother is wise, and so as her judgments."

"Fine, you may all leave, Annie come with me."

"Right away mother !", Mrs. Annie replied, but before she left she took a glance at Louisa, but Louisa was indifferent towards her, so she left in disappointment with the old madam.

Yasmine also left in anger after receiving hints from Alina, while Louisa helped herself up.

"Hum, I really underestimated you.", Alina said, but Louisa ignored her.

"I thought you were a fool, but it turns out you're..."

"...What, a b***h or an evil schemer like you.", Louisa immediately added.

"You..."

"Today I only followed the script you had prepared,but tomorrow you would have to follow my script, whether you like it or not."

"What do you mean?"

"If you were Yasmine, I probably would have explained, but sister Alina doesn't need explanation right."

From that moment Louisa knew that she had declared war and caused an enemy for herself, but it didn't matter. No one calls for enemies, but they still had enemies behind their backs. She never wronged Sara or Dan, but they brought her pain and it ended up with her death. Now that she was reborn, she had double vigilance even when there was no trouble. This was the first step to take and she didn't need to miss a step, not even a single step.
