Nico. Nico stared out at the view from his penthouse hotel room. He could no longer look at the garden, so he stared at the cars below. They looked like toys. He knew it was unbecoming, but every time he looked down at the streets below, he couldn't help but imagine stepping on everything he saw. They just looked so small. He could not think about anything else. His wolf was shattering. It was a quiet sort of shattering. At all hours, ever since he first turned, he could always feel him. Somtimes it was just a pulse or a murmur. Sometimes it was a voice. But this was different; he felt disconnected. It felt like the wolf had died. And then there would be a gasp, or a sob. So Nico was trying very hard not to think at all, not for the duration, at least until he could feel his wolf again
