Isabelle’s POV The sound of my phone vibrating against my nightstand was what woke me. Then came the second buzz. Then the third. Then the relentless ringing. I groaned, blindly reaching for it, my fingers fumbling against the cool glass screen. I barely managed to squint at the caller ID before answering. Stephanie. “This better be important,” I mumbled, my voice thick with sleep. Her voice came through the line, tight with panic. “Isabelle, you need to get up.
