“What the hell, Liam!?” Mike’s blaring voice resonated inside the car.
Liam sobbed. “D-Dad, p-please—”
“Please what!? You already ruined your future once! And now you are doing it again!? What’s gotten into your mind, huh? Ivory’s c*m! The f**k is wrong with you!” Mike slammed his fist in the steering wheel.
The kids jolted Liam as they cried.
Leila caressed Mike’s shoulder. “Stop it, Mike—”
“Why would I stop!? Don’t I have any right to speak? Am I not Liam’s father!?” Mike mockingly answered.
“You are frightening the kids!” Leila yelled back.
The car stopped when the traffic light turned red.
