“Krystal, we will have our dinner out.” Dad said to me as soon as he got out of the classroom. The meeting has just finished. It took them hours to finish the meeting inside the classroom. My classmates are waiting outside with me and others are walking around the campus. Maybe some of them are having time with their boyfriends and girlfriends.
“Okay.” I replied shortly. s**t! I don’t know what else to say to him. Except for saying okay.
“Do you have homework to do?” Dad asked. I guess he is worried that I have something to finish at home. He knows that I don’t like slacking off. I finish everything before doing the things that I want to and even important schedules.
“No. I don’t.” I answered him.
“Good. Mrs. Ellis and James, your classmates will join us for dinner.” Dad said
