Jamie was growing more frustrated by the minute, but everyone would see what Akiko was doing to him under the table if he moved. They had just finished their main course, and they were contentedly waiting on the palate cleanser course that would soon be brought to the table. Leif and Yuri abstained from alcohol to stay alert and make sure their friends remained safe, unable to enjoy dinner without their usual obligations taking the forefront. The rest of the group, however, had already gone through most of the wine onboard. Their healing ability made it much harder to get drunk, but they were reaching the point of inebriation rapidly.
