Jamie turned to Akiko’s luggage and pulled out the pajamas she’d laid out before they left for dinner, “Put these on and go to bed.” She nodded her assent, and he offered her no more direction or praise. She tried to reign in how hard her heart was beating and take her mind off of the sopping mess he’d made between her legs but watching him disrobe and pull on only a pair of sweatpants wasn’t helping. She wondered if he was trying to get her back because nothing was left to the imagination as the light grey cloth clung to him. Still, she chose to be silent because she wasn’t willing to risk him denying her.
