Delilah's POV I pushed off the wall and walked away from the break room before anyone could catch me eavesdropping, my vision blurring with tears I refused to let fall while my chest felt so tight I could barely breathe. The morning dragged on with more of the same cold shoulders and whispered conversations that died the moment I appeared. I kept my head down and focused on my work, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched constantly, that every time I turned around someone had just been staring at me. Around midmorning, I was restocking bandages in the supply closet when I felt it intensify, that prickling sensation on the back of my neck that made every hair stand on end. I spun around quickly but the closet was empty except for me and the neatly organized shelves. I
