I returned the receiver to its’ cradle, my heart thumping wildly as I tried to process the conversation that I had just had. The old Alpha of the Northern pack believed that Blair was his daughter. That was one of the most absurd things that I had heard in my life. It meant that she would be the sibling of Alpha Alexander. Which somehow made everything seem even worse. I tried to conjure up the image of Alpha Alexander, but my mind came up with nothing other than a swirl of dark facial hair.
