CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR DRESS-SHOPPING AMBER’S POV I’m panicking, and rightfully so. Prom is this coming Friday, and the dress I had been dreaming about; the one I spent hours obsessing over online; is gone. Someone bought it. Just like that. Like its literally out of stock. My stomach twists as I scroll through the website again, hoping it’s some kind of glitch, a cruel mistake. But no, it’s gone. Completely sold out. I can’t tell Theo. Not yet. It’s too late, too close to prom, and I don’t want to ruin the perfect night I’ve been imagining with him.
