Zyra POV Sleep takes me slowly. Too slowly. My body sinks into the mattress, exhaustion pulling me under, but my mind refuses to stay quiet. Images replay over and over again, his eyes in the moonlight, the warmth of his hand on my wrist, the way his voice softened when he said my name. Dael. Even thinking it sends something restless through my chest. Eventually the world fades. Darkness folds around me. And then…A knock, Soft. Three slow taps against my dorm door. My eyes open immediately. The room is dim, grey light barely filtering through the curtains.
