Xavier’s POV
I sniffed the piece of cloth hopefully, only to find that there’s no scent on it. How could that be? I was sure that the robe was worn by someone related to Hazel’s kidnapping, but without his or her scent, there is no use of the blank piece of cloth.
“Mason, I found a piece of cloth. Did you or anyone else find anything?” I mind-linked my Beta.
“No, Alpha. There were no clues. We found nothing here. Even when we sniffed the outskirts of the school, we found nothing other than regular human scents,” he replied.
“F**k, Mason! There’s something wrong here.” Suddenly I heard the voices and footsteps of the school guards.
