They stood there simply staring at each other until Allison grabbed at his wrist, not thinking about her actions. She promptly shut the door of her bedroom, locking it before guiding the Alpha further towards her bed, far from the door, just in case anything else or anyone was lurking in the darkness. “Check on me?!” The hunter whispered, voice hard, heart beating wildly.
