Winter is coming soon. I could feel it in the air around us, the sharp air of winter and the cold that comes with it that dries my nose. I huff. My mate knows that I’m gone now and she’s incredibly worried. I try to carry her emotions, but I know that it would distract me, so I slowly shut her off. A trick that I should teach her to keep things fair, but a part of me enjoys the fact that she doesn’t know how to distance herself from me, her emotions still laid bare without a wall interfering to keep me from feeling her.
