Sana The odd feeling inside my chest subsides to a dull ache in about an hour or so. I’m not actually keeping track, but it felt close to two hours. Dylan had made sure that the doctor is taking care of my brother properly as my mind grappled with my mate’s absence. One of the many reasons why newly mated wolves don’t go too far from each other. The least strong one is always left grappling for their mind back. I stand around Albie’s kitchen. His home is reminder of how much I’m alone and I was used to being alone, but this time I ache for him, dull and sharp, it comes straight to my chest. I drink my fourth cup of coffee as my mother looks around the kitchen and fridge and Yume is sitting beside me. Their presence helps, but the nigging feeling that something is wrong is still there.
