After spending time alone with Luca and Jackson, Mom sent Caleb to call us for lunch. I didn't know how I was going to face them after they caught us, but I had to face them whether I wanted to or not.
Caleb kept on glancing between Luca and Jackson, probably wondering why they were here. But I was wrong, because what he said next made me wish that I could disappear. "Avery, your lips are swollen, did they maul you or something?"
