After lunch, I was sitting on the lounge chair thinking about what happened. It felt right to tease Avery. Not in a bad way, but knowing that I had a sister I could pick on every now and then.
I smiled at the memory of Mom and Dad lecturing me about keeping my mouth shut when Elias, Jackson, and Luca were visiting. But I couldn’t. It gave me a feeling that a missing piece in my life was finally here.
