EXT. STREET-TUCSON

The SUN was up brightly as EMMA was walking down the STREET, NIKKI and AUSTIN close by as they were trying to keep up with her frantic pace. 

AUSTIN

Will you slow down, EMMA, stop, you don't know what this will do to us!

EMMA

I don't really give a s**t!

NIKKI

EMMA, stop, honey, stop, stop!

NIKKI cuts her off as EMMA huffs loudly as AUSTIN stands near her. 

NIKKI 

Look, I understand what we did was shitting...

EMMA

You think...

NIKKI

But look, we still got time, we can stop this guy. 

EMMA

This guy has 60 plus souls coursing through his body, he's a goddamn souped up WARLOCK and we don't stand a chance, now if you don't mind, I'm going to meet, and I'm going to go home. 

NIKKI

Please, EMMA, don't do this, we need you. 

EMMA

Ha!

EMMA heads off as NIKKI looks at AUSTIN, unsure as AUSTIN comes over to her. 

AUSTIN 

Is this a fit? What is this, EMMA...seriously grow the f**k up!

EMMA turns and slaps AUSTIN across his face, AUSTIN taken aback as NIKKI was too, EMMA sneering as she shakes her head. 

EMMA

You're still such an asshole. 

EMMA heads off as AUSTIN rubs his cheek as he looks at NIKKI who looks upset as EMMA keeps her pace up. 

EXT. WAREHOUSE 

The MISFITS aim their GUNS about as the DOORS into the WAREHOUSE suddenly open up, BELPHAGOR stepping up as CHARLES comes out, arms up as he spins about a few times as a UNDEAD MAN on a TRUCK aims a spotlight on him, CHARLES closing his eyes for a moment as BELPHEGOR comes up to him, looking him over before he shakes his head. 

BELPHEGOR 

Well goddamn, if it isn't you. Me and ours just keep running into you guys. 

CHARLES

So I've heard....you the guy who roughed up my man in there? 

BELPHEGOR 

You got that SHANE guy with you? How lucky for me. Yeah I popped him a few times. 

CHARLES rears back and punches BELPHEGOR across his face, the MISFITS going for the triggers but BELPHEGOR throws an arm up, stopping them as CHARLES clutches his fist in pain as BELPHEGOR smirks and spits, unfazed. 

BELPHEGOR

That the best you got? 

CHARLES

Yeah..at the moment. 

BELPHEGOR 

Look, all we want is THATON, you give him over, you guys leave. 

CHARLES 

I'm supposed to believe y'all? 

BELPHEGOR 

You don't have too, but what options do you really have?  Besides, we gave you your man back there back didn't we? 

CHARLES

Not under your command I would imagine? 

BELPHEGOR

Not exactly. 

CHARLES

So either way I'm taking a chance. 

BELPHEGOR 

Look, all we want is the SOULS, by now I'm sure that’s what you've been after. If you happen to know where they are, you could just tell us and we'll be on our way. 

CHARLES 

That's one way to look at it. 

BELPHEGOR 

It's better than all of you having to die for no reason. 

CHARLES

If we die we're dying because we want to see this through, not because you can't be trusted. 

BELPHEGOR 

It makes no difference to me. You have a half hour. After that, I'm going to shoot this place to holy hell, and then come in there, and take what is mine. 

BELPHEGOR smirks and backs away first, turning his back on CHARLES as CHARLES sneers. 

INT. WAREHOUSE 

SHANE AND ANTHONY watch closely as CHARLES begins heading back inside. 

SHANE 

I give it up to BELPHEGOR there, he didn't sound like a complete i***t. 

ANTHONY

Cuz that's what matters?!

CHARLES comes inside and shuts the door, locking it up as he comes over and shakes his head. 

CHARLES

That DEMON is going to m******e us no matter what we do. 

SHANE 

Of course he was. 

THATON 

So what are we going to do? 

CHARLES 

“We” are going to figure out how the hell to get out of here, while you sit there and shut the f**k up. 

THATON sneers as ANTHONY comes over, after giving him a look, ANTHONY crossing his arms. 

ANTHONY

He's willing to give up the location of the SOULS, all we have to do is act like we're playing nice and get what we need, and...give him over. 

CHARLES 

We need him alive, and I'm sure as f**k not going to give him over to those assholes. 

SHANE 

Boss, right now, it might be the only sane thing to do...

CHARLES 

No. We're not allowing these assholes to go up on us again, especially because of that asshole. 

SHANE 

Then what?

CHARLES 

I got an idea, it's kinda like ANTHONY'S but...I skewed the details. 

ANTHONY

Okay? 

CHARLES

Follow me. 

CHARLES comes over towards THATON as SHANE and ANTHONY come up next to him. 

CHARLES 

You tell me where the SOULS are stashed, and I get you out of here alive, but we don't have a lot of time to be pussyfooting around, so you better shoot straight with me, or two stab wounds to your knees are gonna be the last of your f*****g worries when it comes to me. 

THATON 

Fine by me. 

CHARLES 

Then spill. 

THATON 

I stashed the SOULS under a house not far from here...six blocks west, third house down, can't miss it, it's got the only tree in the whole neighborhood. 

CHARLES 

What's so special about hiding it there? 

THATON 

Nothing special, just where I decided to hide it. 

CHARLES 

We get you out of here, you take us there, we get it and we still take you in, that's the deal for keeping you alive...understood? 

THATON 

You really think you can make that promise? 

CHARLES 

I can. But you better fly straight with me, DEMON. Or my friend here...He doesn't miss...and in two shots...you cease to exist. 

THATON 

Fine. 

CHARLES nods as ANTHONY and SHANE begin to take the chains off of THATON, THATON looking at CHARLES as CHARLES nods. 

CHARLES 

Now...here's what's going to happen...

EXT. STREET-TUCSON

EMMA waits, arms crossed as AUSTIN and NIKKI are standing near her, EMMA smiling for the first time as she hears a voice coming over towards her. 

BARRY 

(O.S.)

Now isn't that a sight for sore eyes. 

BARRY GIBSON comes up with a large smile as he kisses EMMA on the cheek twice, BARRY coming over as he does the same with NIKKI who moves away from him as he and AUSTIN shake hands. 

BARRY

Offly soon to be calling me, how'd the hunting go? 

EMMA

It didn't go, they're staying to finish it up, and I'm heading back. 

BARRY

Well that's different. 

EMMA

Just send me back, BARRY. 

AUSTIN 

BARRY, hold up. 

BARRY

Uh...

EMMA

I'm not staying, AUSTIN. 

AUSTIN 

EMMA, look we f****d up and we know it okay...but we need you for this. All hands on deck.

EMMA

It doesn't matter...we couldn't stop this guy even if we tried. 

BARRY

Why's that? 

EMMA 

Why BARRY? Because he's hopped up on souls that he's been taking from soon to be marked persons. 

BARRY

He's what? 

EMMA

You heard me. 

BARRY

How many has he taken? Do you know? 

EMMA

He told me around sixty...

BARRY

Good f*****g god...

BARRY begins to pace back and forth, EMMA raising an eyebrow as she and AUSTIN come over to him. 

AUSTIN 

Is that bad? That's bad right? 

BARRY

That's very f*****g bad...why am I just finding out about this?

EMMA

He's a WARLOCK...I guess he can mask how much he's taken in? 

BARRY

Probably...oh shit...

NIKKI

Get to what's the problem, BARRY. 

BARRY 

In the FRINGE you can consume all the souls you want, because the world is just pure energy, hell the SEVERIAN has to happen to keep the influx in balance. 

EMMA

Get to the point BARRY!

BARRY

He's not in a pure energy body, he's in a temp body, filling that body with that many souls is going to cause it to do one thing and one thing only, it's going to go off, and if it goes off here, it's going to act as...like a neutron bomb. 

EMMA

Jesus Christ...

NIKKI

Fuck...

BARRY

This is bad...

EMMA

That's what he meant...he said he had to do something and that once it was done it wouldn't even matter any more...

BARRY 

Yeah because he'll be dead, along with every single unclaimed soul in a very large radius, but more importantly that blast will break through the barrier of reality and it will destroy everything in its path for hundreds of miles. He will kill hundreds of thousands of people and that's just the beginning. People here, in America especially, they'll say it's a terrorist attack, or some other bullshit that can get the WARmongers all hot and bothered, the casualty rate because of this could transcend millions. 

EMMA

Can we stop him? Is it possible? 

BARRY 

You would have to extract the souls from him, but you'd have to be close to do that. 

EMMA 

None of us know how to do that. 

BARRY

That's the problem. 

EMMA

But you do? 

BARRY

...No...

EMMA

You heard yourself, if he succeeds we're all dead, and so are a lot of people. 

BARRY

Look I'm with you from earlier, I say we go back to the FRINGE and just...

AUSTIN 

BARRY, don't be a p***y, not right now. If you can do this, if you can help us stop this motherfucker we need your help. 

BARRY

I am not a RECLAIMER, I am not a gallivanting cowboy like you lot are, I am not here for a fight. 

NIKKI

We're not asking you to fight, we just need you to help us find, and neutralize him before he implodes!

BARRY

I...

EMMA

BARRY...Nut up. 

BARRY

Fine. For you, because you asked nicer. 

AUSTIN 

EMMA does that mean that...

EMMA

I'm staying because of the circumstances, not because you two need me too. 

AUSTIN 

Fine by me. 

BARRY

Looks like I need to up your TEMP BODIES transversal core, or else you won't last long against the guy, the influx of his power will either crush you or deplete you and then you're really f****d. 

AUSTIN 

Do what you gotta do, and then we need to go find this guy, and quick.

BARRY nods and pulls his NOTEBOOK COMPUTER out from his bag, as he takes some wires and hooks them up to their WRIST GUARDS, the THREE looking at each other as reality is beginning to set in. 

INT. TERESA'S OFFICE 

TERESA is going through her files as she moves them about on her touch screen as STRANGE SYMBOLS are on display that only ANGELS can understand, TERESA moving them aside as BENJAMIN knocks on the door, stepping inside as TERESA smirks. 

TERESA 

Hello, BENJAMIN. 

BENJAMIN 

It's a pleasure to see you my dear, and how are you? 

TERESA 

I am okay, how about you? 

BENJAMIN 

I am fine, dear. May I sit down? 

TERESA 

Sure. 

TERESA motions for him as BENJAMIN takes a seat and crosses his legs as TERESA looks at him. 

TERESA

What is the nature of this surprise visit, BEN? 

BENJAMIN 

It's just a matter of principle, really. I thought I'd drop by and ask how things were going with your group. I heard their attempting to go ALPHA? 

TERESA 

That they are. I heard a few of the BERZERKERS fell into one of your crews, congratulations, you'll be able to get another ALPHA unit up here soon. 

BENJAMIN 

It's a very nice sentiment from you, thank you. Maybe one day you will get your second and third crews, you could handle the workload I believe. 

TERESA 

Thank you. 

BENJAMIN 

I must say that I am rather surprised that the SYSTEM would even allow your group to attempt ALPHA initiation. 

TERESA

Is that so...?

BENJAMIN 

With CHARLES as your leader...even some of those...wreck-looses you have...it's quite a shame that you get stuck with the handful of Incompetent...

TERESA

Does this have a point...Benjamin? 

BENJAMIN 

Let me help you. Let me take what are they called...?

TERESA

UNEVENTFUL...

BENJAMIN 

Let me take them off of your hands. I can give you one of my ALPHA units, one that comes with some respect, some prestige, and I can help mold that group of yours into something a little bit more refined. 

TERESA

Are you implying that I cannot properly lead my own group...?

BENJAMIN 

No, not your own...but not this group. If you could you would by now, no? 

TERESA

With all due respect, BENJAMIN. I have a lot of work to do, and I would like to kindly ask you to leave. 

BENJAMIN 

I understand that the way I may have brought this up was not...very positive, but I assure you, I only meant it as a kind gesture, nothing more. 

TERESA

Then why am I not getting that feeling?

BENJAMIN 

I do not know. 

BENJAMIN flashes her a smile before he heads out, TERESA watching him go before she UN balls her fist, which she had clinched under the table. 

EXT. WAREHOUSE 

BELPHEGOR checks his PHONE before he puts it away, coming over as he bellows out loudly. 

BELPHEGOR 

Time's up!

CHARLES

We're coming out...

BELPHAGOR nods to his MEN, signaling to them as the WAREHOUSE DOORS open, CHARLES stepping out as THATON was close behind him, SHANE and ANTHONY coming out side by side behind the DEMON as CHARLES looks at the MISFITS from all over. 

CHARLES 

We give you what you want, and we go free, that's the deal? 

BELPHEGOR 

That's the deal. 

CHARLES 

Alright, fine, we'll take it. 

BELPHEGOR 

Smart man...now all you gotta do is step aside and we'll take it from...

BELPHEGOR roars as suddenly SHANE fired from his hip at him, hitting BELPHEGOR in the LEFT EYE as CHARLES grabs THATON and takes off running as SHANE opens fire, ANTHONY covering CHARLES and THATON who take off past a group of MISFITS who look on in shock as what had just happened as BELPHEGOR screams and points at SHANE as ANTHONY was backing up back inside the WAREHOUSE as SHANE fires again at BELPHEGOR, but BELPHEGOR moves aside as he points. 

BELPHEGOR 

Focus fire on them, kill that motherfucker! And send a unit after them, they'll lead us right to the souls!

BELPHEGOR grabs his eye as SHANE runs in and kicks the DOOR close as they begin opening fire onto the WAREHOUSE, SHANE and ANTHONY covering up as BULLETS go everywhere. 

ANTHONY

CHARLES better get that back up to us!

SHANE

He will!

EXT. STREET 

THATON and CHARLES run as fast as they can as CHARLES pulls his phone, out, dialing a number as some MISFITS appear behind them, firing as THATON pulls CHARLES into a nearby alley to avoid the bullets as CHARLES hears the phone answer. 

CHARLES 

Look, we need your help! I've got two of my men and pinned by the MISFITS at a WAREHOUSE six blocks north from my location, which you can trace right now, I've also got a suspect leading me to...

CHARLES ducks as some bullets miss him. 

CHARLES

Save my guys and you'll get what you need!

CHARLES hangs up and drops the phone as he and THATON continue to run. 

EXT. STREET-TUCSON

BARRY checks his computer as AUSTIN is keeping watch. 

BARRY

Okay, EMMA and NIKKI are getting into position, I need you to go about four feet from here, and then I can get a good triangulation signal, with the influx of souls I should be able to get at least a ping, it may not be all that accurate but it could be what we're looking for. 

AUSTIN does as he's asked and BARRY watches as the marker comes up on his computer BARRY typing a sequence in as he watches the POINTS suddenly form a triangle before registering about, BARRY watching carefully before he smacks his hands together, AUSTIN hurrying over as BARRY turns the screen to him. 

BARRY

Fourteen blocks due north, in this building here, no doubt about it, that's a massive reading, whatever he's planning on doing, it's going to happen soon. 

AUSTIN 

NIKKI, EMMA you hear that? 

NIKKI

(O.S.)

We're heading back right now. 

BARRY

Look, AUSTIN...there's uh...something I didn't want to say to the others, that I think you may want to know, seeing how you may be a little more level headed. 

AUSTIN 

You sure about that? 

BARRY

Look man, I'm not even hundred percent sure that I can extract those souls from this guy, in fact I'm not even 25% sure I can. There's an incantation, the same one I'm sure he's using...it'll draw it out, but it has to go somewhere, and without a host...that presents a problem. 

AUSTIN

You're saying one of us will have to absorb the souls? 

BARRY

No, we may have to do something a bit more drastic. 

AUSTIN 

And that is? 

BARRY

We may have to let them dispel. 

AUSTIN 

If we do that, doesn't that mean that...

BARRY

Yes...it'll mean that the person never existed, every single person those souls have ever been in touch with will forget about them in a single moment, husbands and fathers, mothers, sisters, lovers, all and in between will forget their existence, their pictures, their essence will be removed from the fabric of time...the domino effect that will have will be...Unimaginable. 

AUSTIN 

But what other choice is there? 

BARRY

...Aside taking on the souls ourselves, which is a major no no at this point...no. 

AUSTIN 

Goddamnit. 

BARRY

We'll just have to see what happens, right? 

AUSTIN 

Yeah. Right. 

AUSTIN notices NIKKI and EMMA appearing about the same time, BARRY putting his COMPUTER away as the FOUR look at each other before heading off in the direction they needed to be going. 

INT. WAREHOUSE 

SHANE and ANTHONY still stayed low as the gunfire hadn't subsided as BELPHAGOR was screaming at them, SHANE aiming up without looking as he fires randomly, before dropping back down. 

ANTHONY

I swear to god if I die here...this is bullshit. 

SHANE 

Relax, we're going to...

The GUNFIRE suddenly subsides as SHANE hears something being loaded, something loud, SHANE listening for a few moments before he grabs ANTHONY and pulls him up before he pulls him to the right of the WAREHOUSE, the TWO jumping before being blown back a few feet as the WALL went up in a sudden blast of FIRE and EXPLOSION, ANTHONY and SHANE looking on horrified as from outside, BELPHEGOR lowers an RPG. 

BELPHEGOR

Get inside there and kill those rats, now!

SHANE hears this and holds his PISTOLS up as ANTHONY reaches down and holds his up. 

SHANE

Shoot at the eyes and the face, ANTHONY!

ANTHONY nods as BELPHEGOR watches a few of his MEN begin to move in, BELPHEGOR screaming at at them as he held his LEFT EYE which was bleeding still but as he does he watches as the MEN were suddenly riddled with bullets, their faces disappearing behind a spray of blood and pulp as BELPHEGOR looks about as he notices SHADOW MEN appear all about the area, opening fire on them as BELPHEGOR screeches as SHANE and ANTHONY listen in horror as GUNFIRE begins to be traded back and forth, BELPHEGOR screeching for his unit to fall back as they begin to run towards the TRUCKS, one of the SHADOW MEN firing from a GRENADE LAUNCHER and sends a CAR bursting into flames as BELPHEGOR gets into his ARMORED TRUCK along with some others and takes off, the MISFITS quickly retreating from the area as a MAN on the top of the WAREHOUSE fires a g*n into the ARMORED TRUCK, tagging it with a CIRCULAR TRACKING BEACON as the MISFITS who get away are already gone, the rest being shot down violently as SHANE and ANTHONY keep their guns level before the sounds of gunfire slowly subside. 

The TWO wait a few moments before standing, walking towards the blown open HOLE in the WAREHOUSE as SHANE and ANTHONY notice about FIFTEEN ALPHA LEVEL RECLAIMERS combing the area as the leader, DREW, was barking orders about. 

DREW 

Search their bodies for anything we can use, and keep me updated on that tracking beacon, they'll find it soon enough but a final location is as good a place to start searching, how many men did we get on the outset of this area? 

RECLAIMER 

About six sir, visual confirmations on at least six vehicles that left this area. 

DREW

Tag em and have them report back here...You must be SHANE, ANTHONY good to see you again. 

SHANE shakes his hand as ANTHONY does as well with a relieved look on his face. 

SHANE 

You guys work well. 

DREW

It's a good thing your boss called me when he did, didn't look like you were going to be able to hold out long, but we were thankfully in the area on another mission. And anything to figure out what the hell these bastards are up too. 

SHANE 

What about CHARLES?

DREW

I got someone going to cover him, once we recover the SOULS, we'll have just more concrete evidence to present the SYSTEM, and then we'll really get the support we need to go after these motherfuckers. 

SHANE

I'm all for that. 

DREW

You two stay put, We'll get this area swept over and be sure to wrap this up. 

ANTHONY

Sounds good with me. 

DREW pats them on the shoulders before he barks more orders at his guys as SHANE looks ANTHONY with a smirk. 

EXT. HOUSE 

THATON and CHARLES run up nearly out of breath as the HOUSE with the ONLY TREE stood before them, THATON nodding as CHARLES nods back and turns, drawing his PISTOL as the TWO take cover behind a CAR as a few of the MISFITS appear from behind them, opening fire as CHARLES fires back, hitting one in the neck as it draws back but keeps firing at them as THATON keeps low as CHARLES feels the bullets pelting the CAR with excess as CHARLES looks about before he hears another MACHINE g*n going off to his left, CHARLES watching as the BULLETS were shredding the faces of the MISFITS that had followed as CHARLES stands and fires a few shots that hit a couple of eyes, killing them instantly as the MACHINE g*n fire subsides a few moments later as the MISFITS fall over dead, CHARLES looks over at the RECLAIMER who throws a thumbs up as he was wearing a tactical mask over his face, CHARLES coming over towards THATON as THATON nods. 

THATON

Deal's a deal. 

THATON comes over near the TREE and begins to dig through it as CHARLES stands about, the RECLAIMER looking about as THATON, brings up a LOCKED BOX after a few moments, CHARLES looking at it as THATON nods at him. 

THATON 

Seventeen souls. 

CHARLES 

And you were able to keep them in there? 

THATON 

Nothing a few spells couldn't handle. 

CHARLES 

Thanks. 

THATON 

You saved my life. 

CHARLES 

Least I could do, I guess. 

THATON nods as CHARLES hears a voice call out from behind, CHARLES turning as a GUY runs up in tactical gear, CHARLES aiming at him as the RECLAIMER stops. 

RECLAIMER 

Whoa, hey, I'm on your side, DREW sent me to cover you. 

CHARLES 

You're a little late aren’t you the other...

CHARLES'S eyes go big as he turns and aims his g*n but the RECLAIMER in the MASK was gone from his sight, CHARLES turning to late as the RECLAIMER knees him the chest before delivering a devastating punch that sends CHARLES flying, CHARLES landing hard as THATON looks on horrified as the RECLAIMER aims and goes to fire but the RECLAIMER in the MASK pulls a BLADE and tosses it in less than two seconds, hitting the RECLAIMER in the RIGHT EYE before he shot the second eye out with a quick draw a second later, the RECLAIMER dissolving into the spectacular ball of light and dust as THATON looks at the RECLAIMER in horror, the RECLAIMER looking over at CHARLES who was faced down and not moving as the RECLAIMER in the MASK takes his mask  off, THATON smirking as he nods. 

THATON 

Gotta admit, I'm impressed, didn't see all that coming. But I'm glad you're still interested in doing business. I was able to get those MISFITS to pay for it before even seeing it, but that's it right there. I gotta say, when it came to me about this I was a little surprised, but hey, who am I to judge. It's all there too, so no worries about me trying to screw you, I got paid handsomely mind you, so you get your product, and I get twice what you offered. Just like you said. 

The RECLAIMER (face still hidden from the camera) reaches down and takes the CASE as THATON nods. 

THATON 

So am I good? 

The RECLAIMER nods as THATON smirks and turns. 

THATON 

Adios. 

The RECLAIMER shakes his head and fires twice, hitting THATON in the back of the head as each bullet tears through the back of his skull and out through his eyes, THATON screeching as BURSTS OF YELLOW AND GREEN ENERGY fire out before his body falls over dead. 

The RECLAIMER takes the CASE and stepping over CHARLES, walks down the street, whistling. 

EXT. WAREHOUSE

The FOUR come up to the WAREHOUSE as the FOUR watch as MASSIVE STORM CLOUDS are FUNNELING around the top of it as the WIND has kicked up to powerful gusts. 

BARRY looks concerned as EMMA yells as loud as she can so her face could carry out. 

EMMA

How are we supposed to stop him!?

BARRY

I need someone to go in there and calm him down, he's about to unload the souls if he does that before I can set up the barrier and catcher spell we won't be able to stop what happens!

NIKKI

What about the souls?! 

BARRY

We can't do anything about it, I'm sorry...

NIKKI

Goddamnit...

AUSTIN 

I'll go in there and straighten this out. 

EMMA

No! I'll do it, you just back me up. BARRY, start the spell now!

BARRY nods and begins encrypting into his computer, NIKKI standing by as EMMA nods and runs towards the WAREHOUSE, AUSTIN following close behind as she comes to the DOUBLE DOORS, peering in as DAMON was on his knees not far from an opening in the ROOF as the FUNNELING of the CLOUDS was circulating around him, as DAMON'S chest was glowing as he was burning up, his entire body red and glowing as EMMA motions to AUSTIN who nods as he pulls his RECLAIMER PISTOL out. 

EMMA slowly walks in, arms up as she stops a few feet away. 

EMMA

DAMON...

DAMON

Get back! Get away from me!

EMMA

We're here to help you...

DAMON

You can't help me! This has to happen...it has too...

EMMA

Why?! Why do you think this is the right course to take...?

DAMON

They are coming for us...they will destroy everything we have built, destroying the fabric of our reality!

EMMA

Who!?

DAMON

The...

DAMON SCREAMS as suddenly a beam of light shoots from his chest upwards into the sky, AUSTIN running inside as he watches as EMMA looks horrified as DAMON is convulsing violently. 

AUSTIN 

BARRY!

BARRY continues typing as he begins to chant and recite an incantation as AUSTIN aims his pistol at DAMON, EMMA shaking her head at him as DAMON screams. 

DAMON 

The OUTSIDERS will not invade...I am saving us all...

EMMA

at what cost?!

BARRY recites a few more times before he looks up and notices the BEAM OF LIGHT SUDDENLY DISPERSE, NIKKI cheering as EMMA and AUSTIN are blinded by the flash for a few moments as DAMON is knocked back as he screams in pain, DAMON quickly getting back to his knees as he notices the separated SOULS falling away from the STORM, DAMON screaming as he turns infuriated at EMMA and AUSTIN, AUSTIN firing one shot as it hits DAMON in the head, DAMON reeling backwards as BARRY goes back to typing, NIKKI looking at him confused. 

NIKKI 

What's going on?!

BARRY

He only expelled about sixty percent of his soul intake, we have to do it again. 

NIKKI looks from him to the WAREHOUSE as BARRY nods. 

BARRY

Go! They need you more than I do at this point!

NIKKI bolts towards the WAREHOUSE as DAMON reels and pulls the bullet from his head, AUSTIN firing again but DAMON swipes his arms to the side and sends AUSTIN flying, AUSTIN slamming into the side of the WAREHOUSE as EMMA goes and grabs DAMON by his arm, flipping him onto his side before she slams her heel down onto his head, but DAMON spins out of her hold and kicks her off of him before he swipes his arm up, and sends EMMA flying into the covered part of the WAREHOUSE,  EMMA hitting with a sick thud as DAMON watches her fall and comes over to her, grabbing her by her throat as he lifts her up to her feet as AUSTIN was reeling. 

DAMON

I told you to stay out of this! I could've saved everyone in the FRINGE but you just had to butt in!

DAMON begins choking the life out of EMMA, EMMA reeling as her face was flushing of color but as he squeezes, AUSTIN tackles DAMON down, which causes DAMON to drop EMMA as EMMA gasps for live as AUSTIN begins punching DAMON multiple times across his face, but DAMON blocks the seventh punch and slams his palm into AUSTIN'S CHEST, which sends AUSTIN flying backwards again, this time AUSTIN slamming into some metal pipes as he crumples into a heap as NIKKI runs in as DAMON turns back towards EMMA who was trying to crawl backwards away from him, NIKKI running as she slides and slide-kicks DAMON in his right knee, DAMON screaming as he reels in pain as NIKKI spins on her other leg and kicks herself back up as she spin kicks DAMON across the face, DAMON landing hard as NIKKI raises her g*n and begins unloading rounds into DAMON but DAMON holds his hand up and begins blocking the rounds as NIKKI keeps at it, EMMA getting back to her feet as she runs over to AUSTIN, who hadn't moved. 

EMMA pushes him a few times till he stirs, NIKKI watching as DAMON began stepping towards her as NIKKI was watching her rounds deplete, NIKKI quickly switching from firing to throwing a punch but DAMON uses his powers as a warlock to throw her to the side, NIKKI slamming hard as he pulls his arms forward and jerks NIKKI back towards him, DAMON sneering as he clotheslines NIKKI across her throat, NIKKI spinning as she lands hard as DAMON kicks her across her face and chest, DAMON sneering as he goes to kick her across her head again but EMMA runs forward and grabs DAMON from behind, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck as she holds on for life as DAMON tries to pry her off as AUSTIN slowly began to stand. 

NIKKI scoots away as EMMA screams and keeps her choke hold in place

Meanwhile 

BARRY continues triangulating his signal until he gets his confirmation ding, BARRY nodding as he begins reciting and chanting the incantation. 

EMMA hangs on as DAMON swings and tries to knock her off, but NIKKI reaches and grabs DAMON by his legs, holding him in place as DAMON can't fight them off of him as he screams and jerks forward suddenly as EMMA is thrown off as NIKKI let's go and rolls away as the BEAM OF LIGHT shoots out of his chest again, DAMON screaming in agony as BARRY watches the SOULS disperse and break off as they reached the night sky from the DOUBLE DOORS, BARRY watching on with skeptic eyes as the SOULS were dissipating into nothing. 

DAMON drops to his knees as a large red and black burnt circular scar was now on his chest, DAMON not moving as he hangs his head, EMMA slowly coming around to him as NIKKI goes over to AUSTIN who had barely been able to stand on his own two feet. 

EMMA stands a few feet away from DAMON as DAMON begins to sob, EMMA not sure how to feel or react as DAMON shakes his head. 

DAMON

All for naught...everything I was trying to stop...

EMMA

Killing all those innocent people...planning on killing god knows how many more...what would that have stopped?

DAMON

You will never be able to stop what is going to happen...you think the MISFITS are the biggest threat to the FRINGE...

EMMA

How do you know about them...?

DAMON 

I know more than you could possibly imagine...

EMMA

Then come back with us...help us better understand what you were doing, why you were doing it...

DAMON

The SYSTEM won't understand...they wont listen...until it's too late...

EMMA

DAMON...

DAMON 

This is all your fault...whatever happens from here...

EMMA watches as a RED LIGHT begins forming in DAMON'S LEFT HAND. DAMON looking up at EMMA with tears in his eyes. 

DAMON 

Is on you...

EMMA looks horrified as DAMON slams the RED GLOWING HAND into his own chest, DAMON screaming in agony as NIKKI and AUSTIN watch on stunned as EMMA backs away slowly as BARRY runs inside, BARRY stopping beside her as DAMON'S EYES FLICKER before there is a flash of light and DAMON goes lifeless, his body falling awkwardly as his face was twisted upwards, his eyes landing on EMMA'S as she stares at him for a moment before looking away as BARRY shakes his head. 

BARRY

He crushed his own soul...not seen a suicide like that for...a very long time. 

EMMA

I'm ready to go home...

BARRY

What are we going to say about all of this? 

EMMA

The truth. 

EMMA turns and walks out as NIKKI and AUSTIN look at each other skeptically for a moment. 

EXT. STREET-FRINGE 

CHARLES sits, disheveled and with beaten eyes as RECLAIMERS and ANGEL TASK FORCE SPECIALISTS were about the area, covering the bodies of THATON and the other RECLAIMER as SHANE and ANTHONY hurry over as DREW stops them. 

SHANE

Is he okay?!

DREW

He's fine. But my RECLAIMER and the DEMON...well they've been taken out. 

ANTHONY

Shit...

SHANE

The SOULS? 

DREW

Taken by another third party it seems. 

SHANE

Fuck!

SHANE grabs his head as he paces about and begins towards CHARLES but DREW stops him again, SHANE giving DREW a look as DREW shakes his head. 

DREW

Word just got in from your other team back from the living world...

SHANE

And? 

DREW

Things went bad there too, people f****d up, mistakes were made...your other members are being held in custody by the SYSTEM right now...

EXT. THE SYSTEM BUILDING 

TERESA watches from her window with a shocked and hurt expression as ANGELS are leading EMMA, AUSTIN, and NIKKI into the building with handcuffs. 

EXT. STREET 

ANTHONY and SHANE look taken aback as DREW nods. 

DREW

As of right now, the UNEVENTFUL are on indefinite suspension starting immediately, cultivating from this failure along with the one in the living world, CHARLES is being ordered to speak to the SYSTEM on behalf of your group. 

SHANE

For what? 

DREW

To determine whether or not you continue to be a RECLAIMING UNIT. 

SHANE

What happens if we don't? 

DREW

It's not any fate I would want upon me and mine here that's for sure. 

ANTHONY

Can we just talk to him...

DREW

Son...that man is suffering from more than just a knock to the skull and a failed mission. He put his trust into you guys, and not saying you two in particular but the others, they let him down, but I think the worst thing for a soul is the feeling of letting yourself down...

SHANE

He got sucker punched by a third party; it's not his fault...

DREW

Like I said boy, it's more than just this...it's everything...the man has a lot to think about it...give him his space...his time...

SHANE

He's our leader, sir. We should talk to him.

DREW nods as he steps aside, SHANE taking a few steps towards CHARLES but ANTHONY stops him. 

ANTHONY

He's right. 

SHANE

The f**k he is. 

ANTHONY

Everything CHARLES feared about us going ALPHA just blew up in his face, SHANE. He's the only one who can save our jobs, and more important than that, he's the only one who gets a chance to stop the SYSTEM from...from doing something really f****d up. 

SHANE

What are you going about? 

ANTHONY

I'll explain it later, but...CHARLES has enough on his plate without us going in there and adding to it. 

SHANE

So what do we do? 

ANTHONY

There is nothing we can do right now. Except hope that CHARLES comes through for us. 

SHANE casts another look towards CHARLES who hadn't moved or changed his expression, SHANE shaking his head as he seems to submit. 

SHANE 

Fine. 

ANTHONY

We should go try and get a hold of COLBY or TERESA, find out what the hell happened with the others. 

SHANE nods at that as ANTHONY heads off towards their escort vehicle, SHANE casting a final glance at CHARLES before he follows. 

INT. HOLDING ROOM 

EMMA sits in the BLANK ROOM, staring forward as DAMON'S final words kept replaying in her head, EMMA trying to shake them off but can't as they get louder and louder, EMMA screaming out suddenly in a burst of anger and sadness as she flips the table and steps away, grabbing her head as she leans against the far wall and then slides down into the corner, closing her eyes as she lays her head on her folded arms that were clutching her knees as she wipes a falling tear. 

“WHEREVER YOU WILL GO” by CHARLENE SORAIA begins to play in the background as EMMA begins to sing the words of the first verse to herself, but as she does her words carry over. 

MONTAGE 

INT. SYSTEM BUILDING 

TERESA walks by some colleagues who give her pitiful and mocking glances as TERESA keeps her head held high as she walks past them, the GROUP laughing as soon as she is out of their sight. 

INT. HOLDING ROOMS 

NIKKI and AUSTIN are in different holding rooms, NIKKI crying as she looks regretful as AUSTIN just sits quietly, pondering long and hard as EMMA'S words seem to be getting to him. 

EXT. SET 

ANTHONY calls “cut” on a new scene, ANTHONY sitting motionless as the set is hectic all around him, ANTHONY seemingly lost in thought elsewhere. 

INT. THE TAVERN 

SHANE orders a drink as he looks about to see that nobody was around, SHANE giving a lonely glance about before taking the drink down, AJAX patting him on the shoulder as EMMA'S song continues as SHANE nods and orders another.

INT. THE HANGOUT 

CHARLES sits in silence, his eyes filled with tears but nothing falls as he stares blankly forward, lost in thought as he's not sure what to think. 

INT. HOLDING ROOM 

EMMA trails off from singing as she begins sobbing into her arms

INT. MISFITS HIDEOUT 

JARED slams BELPHEGOR into the wall hard, BELPHEGOR reeling as his pierced eye was still injured, JARED hitting BELPHEGOR a few times in his chest which brings the LARGE DEMON down onto his knees as JARED huffs and sneers angrily as he paces back and forth before he punts BELPHEGOR across the head, BELPHEGOR reeling as the GHOUL CASSIE looks on disturbed. 

CASSIE

Enough...JARED. 

JARED

You do not give me orders!

BELPHEGOR 

It wasn't my fault...please. 

JARED kicks BELPHEGOR in the face again. 

JARED

Do not speak to me, BELPHEGOR! You have failed me for the last time!

BELPHEGOR 

We were ambushed!

JARED 

You had the drop, and you let it slip between your fingers! Not only did you lose that which we needed, but you got the majority of your team killed!

BELPHEGOR 

I...

JARED

Shut up!

JARED punches BELPHEGOR down a few more times as BELPHEGOR begins to sob pathetically, CASSIE shaking her head as JARED steps back and breathes heavily, JARED rubbing his chin as he comes over and bends down in front of BELPHEGOR, pulling his face up. 

JARED

Have you had enough? 

BELPHEGOR 

yes...please...just...let me get my eye fixed and...

JARED

No...that eye is going to stay that way...as a reminder for your failings...

CASSIE

Please, let me fix his wounds...

JARED

I said no! He wants that eye back he's going to have to earn it back...

BELPHEGOR 

Anything! I'll do anything, I am sorry I failed you...

LYDIA

Which isn't the same as failing our superior. 

JARED sneers as he stands up and turns to LYDIA, BELPHEGOR slowly standing to his feet as JARED and LYDIA stare each other down, CASSIE coming over towards BELPHEGOR as BELPHEGOR grabs his arm which was limp. 

JARED

I can handle my people without your intrusion. 

LYDIA

Your people have done nothing of significance as of late, and the one thing you had left before we enact phase three was badly botched by this walking buffoon. 

JARED

Tell me something I am not already clearly aware of. 

LYDIA 

I have news, from “him”...

JARED

Then spill it. 

LYDIA

He is disappointed that we did not collect the last of the souls in one large bounty, however, as long as we stick to the outer rim of the FRINGE and continue to round up the souls from the wanderer's that inhabit it we should get what we need by then, so he is not as upset as I or as I see, you, are. 

JARED

Is that it? 

LYDIA

No. He wants to proceed with Phase Three, immediately. 

JARED

Of course he does. And who does he want leading the operation? 

LYDIA 

He told me to leave that up to you, I tried to sway him, but...

JARED

He knows better. 

LYDIA 

You'll fail again. 

JARED

We will see about that. 

JARED smirks and turns to BELPHEGOR. 

JARED

Ready to get back into my good graces? 

BELPHEGOR 

Yes...anything...

JARED

Good...

JARED turns and brushes past LYDIA, leaving the room they were in as BELPHEGOR bucks his chest out and nods with a reassured look as CASSIE gives LYDIA a look. 

INT. HOME 

A DOOR opens as a light turns on inside a LUSH APARTMENT, the RECLAIMER who had stolen the SOULS in the BRIEFCASE walking inside as he shuts the door and walks towards the back of the room, setting the BRIEFCASE DOWN on the table near the LIVING ROOM as he grabs a REMOTE and turns on a STEREO, “LOVE AND HAPPINESS” by AL GREEN playing as the RECLAIMER grabs the BRIEFCASE and comes over towards a WALL with a KEYPAD, the RECLAIMER typing in a sequence before stepping back. 

As the RECLAIMER watches the WALL BEGIN TO SLIDE TO THE LEFT, the SIGHT OF DOZENS OF BRIEFCASES can be seen, the RECLAIMER storing the new one into a open slot as he checks a nearby one and opens it, letting the blazing light of souls rest on him for a few moments before he closes it and shuts the SECRET ROOM. 

The RECLAIMER slowly begins to strip and take his gear off, whistling to the music as the last thing to come off his head gear, the RECLAIMER smiling as he keeps whistling to the song. 

CHRISTIAN DOYLE smirks to himself as he heads towards the back of his APARTMENT, music blaring as the revelation sinks in.
