Chapter Forty-Seven
Seth POV
The atmosphere ripples around me and then the invisible barrier hiding our kingdom shatters. I glance out my window just in time to watch the sky explode with such force it blows me out of my chair and onto my ass. Our wards… someone destroyed our wards.
I scramble to my feet, rushing to my desk, I press the red button to signal an invasion. Alarms blast to life and scream so loud my people will be unable to ignore them. The ground shakes from the force of the stampede of vampire’s scurrying to safety.
