Walking home , I could not fully fathom why Jax would just suddenly not be into me anymore . I guess it has something to do with his mate and I am happy for him , but why would he still try and talk me out of my marriage ?
Is he playing some kind of game ?
Is he acting to be over me so that I would listen to him ?
Walking into the packhouse , Isaac comes running down the stairs shirtless , his chest rising up and down and his eyes wide . Relief falls over his face as his eyes land on me .
" Where were you ?" he asks , his eyes trailing over the length of my body . " I went for a run ." I shrug and he frowns , looking at me with confused eyes . " Why didn't you wake me up ?" he asks and I shrug .
