I thought I had misheard, and when I was about to go downstairs, I still heard Monica's voice that seemed to be talking to someone.
"What the hell is all this about? How did you get here?" It was Monica's voice.
I could hear so clearly, all thanks to the vampire's sensitive hearing.
I continued to listen.
A silence followed, and I didn't hear any sound in response to Monica.
But then Monica said, "What? Why is that."
"If that's true, then should I need to tell Kayla now?"
"Oh my God, she will be so upset if she knows about this."
"Yes, we don't want to see this happen; it had to be done to avoid her suffering more deception."
"Okay ...... I will do that, don't worry ......"
These dialogues sounded very much like conversations, yet I could only hear Monica's voice.
