"Remember when we went to the city for business and I told you I needed to eat before we left? I unexpectedly bumped into her at the restaurant. She made me promise not to tell you or her parents about seeing her."
"That was why you didn't want Christian and I to pick you up from the restaurant, yes?" I asked, remembering the incident.
"Yeah. I'm sorry, Alpha. A few weeks after that, I got the news that her mother was seriously sick. I knew even if Ravenna had run away, she always loved her mother and would want to be with her, then I went back to the city and she didn't want to come back until I told her about her mother's sickness."
