Warrick’s P.O.V.
“She can’t do this to me. I was not involved in this… this k********g case. All the evidence that she has provided are fake”, I yelled at the investigator who was sitting in front of me in the interrogation room inside the police station. The public prosecutor was also sitting with him. They both looked at each other and then back at me with a crooked smile. “Mr Roberts… I think.. you must see the evidence first and then yell at us”, the investigator said in a mocking tone and then put the list in front of me. I didn’t want to see it because I knew that Mariam had done her homework well. She already had told me earlier that she had everything that could put me behind bars for a lifetime.
Still, I read the list and my heart sank when I saw three different bank statements
