I scoffed while looking at the screen where I could see that pathetic couple. I hacked the surveillance of the police station. It was easy here, in this small town, where people had a simple, and beautiful life. Life here is not as chaotic as it is in the big cities. Some people were also greedy and cunning here but they were still innocent in comparison to the people in the city. Warrick and Valerie failed to get Mariam back here. They laughed at their plan of escaping from my grip. They were just pawns in my plan and I didn’t have any intention to kill them. I already had so much blood on my hands and I didn’t want to add more because it was not easy to clean after that.
