Alycia's feet moved drunkenly as she made her way back to the cottage, a rather absent-minded look on her face.
She didn't seem to notice the way her legs trembled as she staggered forward, making her way past the corridors, into the vast yard, until she eventually reached the cottage.
Shutting the door behind her, she let out a deep exhale, her hands immediately reaching to clutch at her chest.
"Pri... Princess?"
Pearl rushed forward, relief washing through her as she stared at Alycia with watery eyes.
"Oh, thank goddess you're back. I was so worried something bad might have happened."
