"What are you saying?" Rowen asked, genuinely curious.
Alicia shook her head, in an attempt to dismiss him, "I'm just tired of all these. I need to...i just need to go back to my pack, and..."
"Dont be insensitive!" Rowen cut her off sharply, almost angry.
After a few seconds of silence, Rowen dragged his hands over his face, " Look, I didn't mean it like that,"
He reached out to hold her, but Alycia recoiled instantly, her body tensed.
She couldn't believe he had just called her insensitive as well.
"What exactly did Lucien do this time though?"
