Chase’s POV.
After Shannon had eaten. She took her meds and went back off to sleep. I have X-ray coming to see her when she wakes up later on. Right now she needs rest and I know she hates it. But it’s tough. She needs to get better and she can only do that if she rests.
I leave Stinger watching over her as I head out to check on Chance.
I find him sitting with Zarah, Giovanni, and the twins.
I smile seeing him with the girls. He is so gentle with them. He chats to them and kisses them and just loves them. It will break his little heart when they have to leave. But I know he will be happy to learn he will be a big brother. But Shannon and I haven’t really discussed the pregnancy at the moment. It’s kind of hard to when she is sleeping but it’s ok. The more she rests, the more she heal
