Ranger’s POV. I watch as Chase wheels my Shannon out of the door and feel the burn in my chest, not even the sting in my jaw. No one speaks until the door closes. “With all due respect, pres, but you’re a prick. If it wasn’t for Shannon, we would all be dead. She went to save you and killed her brother, your son, to save us and what you just did was out of order.” Stinger says and I don’t acknowledge him because he is right. “Heard, if any of you want to follow them, then leave your cuts on the table and go.” I say before I turn in my chair, giving my back to the room as I look out of the window that faces the house.
