As could be expected, the awkwardness was still going strong as Kade and Arden sat across from each other at the dining table, a pot and two steaming cups of fresh tea between them.
Now that they had no other activity to occupy them and exchange words about, they were finding it hard to come up with a new topic of conversation.
Or at least, one that wouldn’t make the strained air between them any worse.
