Aiden POV

I never thought she'd let me kiss her so soon. She opened up about herself a little more and I was grateful. The playfulness I saw in her, her laugh, her smile. It was magical. They weren't kidding when they tell you when you find your mate everything they do is amazing and like you've never seen it before. When we sat together on the couch and she curled into my side under my arm, I felt like I was in heaven. As soon as i felt her falling asleep I mind link the Doctor to make sure it was ok. Once he convinced me she would be ok now I gentle picked her up and carried her to her bed. I tucked her in and left her room. I knocked on her brothers door surprised that he was awake. "Hey when are you parents supposed to be home?" I asked I didn't want to leave her side until the very last minute. "They wont be back till Sunday afternoon. They went to visit our grandparents." He said. I'm an Alpha and usually don't need to ask permission from anyone, but Ryder is my mates brother and I can tell they mean so much to each other. "I'm worried about Rylee's head after getting lost and her fall she took. Do you mind if I stay the night to make sure she is ok? I'll sleep on her couch." Fingers crossed behind my back. "As long as you stay on the couch. Hey can I ask you about Lauren?" I nodded and sat on the chair he motioned for me. "She told me obviously nothings happened between you two. Is that right?" I nodded again. He sighed in relief. "Ok cause I really like her, I don't know its weird I feel this draw to her. she definitely not like other girls." I laughed a little "You have no idea." I got up bumped fists with him and went to head back to Rylee's room. "Oh Aiden... What are the chances if you mark Rylee and Lauren marks me that we have the ability to transform to wolves?" I stopped in my tracks and spun so fast I didn't realize. "I overhead you talking to my sister in the woods the day of our BBQ, I did some very in depth research online and found many many forum sites." I took a couple steps toward him. "So you know what we are and about us. Then you should know that I am the Alpha of this pack and I don't care that you are Rylee's brother, I will protect this pack and kill anyone who tries to hurt them." He laughed and put his hands up. "I'm not trying to start a war, I saw this forum from someone who says certain people can be turned under the right conditions if they are marked by their mated wolf." I took the paper he was holding in his hands. I skimmed it. "Hmm do you mind if I take this to our pack doctor and ask him. I've never heard of this happening before." He nodded and I stuck it in the pocket of the hoodie. "Oh she gave this to me to wear, she thought you parents would be home tonight." "Keep it, I never wore it anyway." I nodded and left closing the door behind me.

So He knew about us. He was taking it a lot better than Rylee did. I opened her door to see her still in her bed. I grabbed a pillow and placed a soft kiss on her forehead before going back to the couch. I flipped on another movie but didn't make it 15 min in before I fell asleep. I woke to her rubbing my arm. "You look cold, come on." She grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle tug. We don't feel cold as much as they do but I wasn't about to turn down the opportunity to cuddle her. I sounded wiped already. She got back under the covers and patted the spot next to her. I got in but kept my distance till she pulled me closer. She fell asleep wrapped in my arms her hands on my chest as I ran a hand up and down her back. Is this what it was like for other mated pairs? No wonder to mated pairs their mate was the most precious thing on earth. In this moment I didn't care if the world was on fire as long as this girl was safe and happy in my arms. "Damn it Rylee, you are my weakness." I said softly as to not wake her. She pushed harder trying to get closer as I wrapped my arms tightly around her. "You're mine." she said back. My eyes widen and looked down at her. Her eyelids were fluttering showing she was dreaming. I didn't know if she was dreaming about me but I'm going to tell myself that she was and that was her claiming me.

It didn't take long for myself to fall asleep. I woke to something poking my cheek I groaned and swatted it away. I heard a giggle and just as I was about to open my eyes my eyes was forced open. Light was all I saw and I yelled. "The f**k was that?" I slapped my hand on my eye quickly it actually stung. "Sorry but you weren't waking up and I really need to go to the bathroom." Rylee said and I realized where I was. "So why didn't you just go, why did you choose violence?" her giggle was music to my ears even if I was just woken up so rudely. "Um well you kind of have me in a death grip. I couldn't wiggle out of." I opened my eyes and looked down and realized yup i had her impossible close and both arms wrapped around her. I pulled my arms away as she rolled off the bed and ran to her bathroom. I stood up and stretched. "Hmm when did I take the hoodie off?" I was looking for it when she came out of the bathroom. She leaned down picked something off the floor and flung the hoodie at me. "you took it off sometime. You got really warm." I walked over to her and cupped her face in my hands, "perks of being a wolf." I went to kiss her as she leaned back and kept going as I kept leaning. "Why are you doing that?" I smiled at her. "Not until you brush your teeth bro, morning breathe." I couldn't help the laugh "did you just call me bro." She nodded. "you can use my toothbrush, Ill go get breakfast started. Ryder is probably up already." I watched her walk out and leave me standing there before i went and brushed my teeth.

When I came down stairs I smelled my sisters scent and Laurens scent. I rounded the corner and saw them sitting at the table already. Ryder and Rylee were standing at the kitchen island getting stuff to make breakfast. I smiled and nodded at my sister and Lauren and rounded the island to wrap Rylee in my arms. Her squeal of surprise and then slight giggle made me smile as I burred my face in her neck and smelled her. I placed small kisses there i was quite enough so no one would know. The squeeze she had on my arm let me know she was enjoying it as well. A gave slight bite before she pushed me away and handed me a cup of coffee. "When you are done trying to eat her, I brought clothes over for you." Ally said. I place my cup down next to her and grabbed them kissing the top of her head. She swatted at me and touched her head like i placed something there. She narrowed her eyes at me "You should have found your mate years ago! where did the ruthless Alpha go?" I looked at here letting my eyes go black "I'm still here." I said before leaving to change.
