Dylan  The more people that came into the room, the more depressing it became, but after a few days, I sort of grew numb to seeing someone else come in looking for a new update. Everything was pretty much the same. Riley hadn’t worsened but hadn’t shown any signs of improvement either. And me? I was here, but I didn’t feel present at all. It’s been days since I’ve slept, or even eaten, for that matter. I couldn’t risk leaving her side in case something happened.
