I was far from relaxed as I paced around the bed chambers. This was dangerous and a knot of fear resided in my stomach. Absentmindedly my hand hovered my small bump, as if to protect the child that resided within me. Xavier was determined to continue with the day, but the thought of him coming into contact with any food or drink filled me full of fear.
