Chapter Thirty Nine – Return to the Palace
As I watched the palace looming in the distance, the bright mid-day sun glistening off the expanse of small windows that adorned the side, the rays of light dancing and twinkling like the stars had forgotten it was in fact day time. I took a deep breath, this palace, once so foreboding and terrifying to me was now my home, and it felt good to return. I have found myself still not in my confinement, so after the formalities of our return, Xavier had instructed the royal physicians to attend me and confirm I am with child.
