Blaiz “Her internal core temp is up to 92 degrees,” Nurse Sara informed the doctor. “Where was it to start with?” I inquired, having finally regained enough composure to ask questions. “Eighty-seven was the first recorded temp,” she informed me, then she patted my shoulder and added, “It’s a good thing you found her when you did.” “I should have found her sooner. If I had, maybe she wouldn’t have nearly froze to death,” I grumbled, feeling like I’d let her down. “Mr. Ambroise, you can’t blame yourself. If anything, you deserve to be commended,” she informed me with sincerity in her voice. “Thanks, Sara.
