Chapter 17

Blue is now walking on the hallway, she left Red when she was asleep; at least by that she is comfortable enough knowing her twin took a little rest. She knows how exhausted her body is from crying, she thought Xerias and her sister haven't had a talk yet, then she'll hear about this? She can't believe how he was able to say those words when throughout their stay here Red show nothing but pure greatness. She was so gentle with everyone so how could he hurt her?!

"Oh, where did you go? We tried looking for you," her mother welcomed her as soon as she went back. She smiles a little...

"Oh, I just had a talk with someone." she answered and turn her eyes to look for her father. "Where's father?" she asked.

"Oh, he had a talk with Xerias. You know, congratulating them because after such a long time they stayed here finally they have their own kingdom they can call their home." Queen Silviania said.

Blue smile in response, she knows this won't be possible without her father who work nights and days just so the different castle will be built again. She looks at her mother who heavily sigh, she then gave her an "are you okay?" look.

"I'm just worried about your sister, my chest has been feeling heavy and I know for sure it was because she is not okay. I wonder what she is doing right now," her mother answered and release another heavy sigh. She knows how worried their mother is especially she knows that Red is totally not okay. And surely she will be more worried if she knew about what Xerias said to Red so she just shut her mouth, it's better for Red to say it to the King and Queen.

"Hmm, she must be asleep by now since I went to where she is and I let her sleep," she said and hold herself from telling further informations.

"That's great to hear, at least my worry has lessen." Queen Silviania said, "and may I excuse myself for a moment? I'll just talk to your father." Her mother said before she nod twice.

King Armund and I are talking, surely he doesn't know what I have told Red yet but if he already does, I know he won't accept me anymore. He would even ask the rest of the vampires who are in here to feist on me. We were talking when Queen Silviania came..

"Good evening, Queen," I said and bow a little as a sign of respect. She just smiled on me.

"Uhm, may I talk to the King for a short while?" she asked me and of course, I told her that it's fine. King Armund tossed his glass wine with mine before he left.

I then roam around to see what's the current situation of banquet. I then see Blue looking at the nothingness but after awhile she blink her eyes and all I can see in her eyes is anger when it met mine. Her aura darken which made me look at her more, by just looking at her eyes I know she already knows what I have said to her twin. She cut her stares with mine before she went on the opposite direction I was going.

When Blue left, I immediately stand up to wash my face. I go to my closet which where all of my clothes are placed, even the gown mother picked for me is here.

It was a long fitted gown with a color of bloody red. It's beautiful and suited me so well. After taking a bath, I wore the gown before putting something on my face, I also did my hair. When I think I'm all done, I open the curtain of my room and felt the touch of cold breeze. I hug myself and think of my decision carefully.

As I walk down the stairs, I could feel their eyes looking at me, well I'm used to it. Too many eyes were looking and staring at me but my eyes find his, I immediately cut it. I don't want him to think that I am here just to look at him, I am here in respect of other wolves, fairies and those who belong to other kingdom who became close to me. All of us here had relation, and that's for sure.

My father waited for me down the stairs, he then help my hand and help me go down.

"I thought you're already asleep?" my mother said before she caressed my cheeks, I know she can feel what I feel.

"You should've take longer rest, Red." father suggested, I just smile at them before holding both of their hands.

"Mother, father, I'm fine okay? I'll be fine.." I added before smiling at them but I know they know what I truly feel, they are my parents and I am aware that they could feel what I feel.

"Still Red, your body is might exhausted, at least you had a little rest." Blue butted in who walk closer to us. I sigh.

"I'll be okay, Blue. After this banquet I'll take a rest, and I'm only here to pay respect for those who'll go back to their kingdom. Who knows, I may not meet them anymore." I said and look at them convincing I can handle myself and I'll be okay.

"Just remember I'm on your side," Blue whisper before I nod.

I was shock to see Red at the banquet, but I know how much she love this kind of celebration as well since Mother mentioned that ever since Red was young, she was always there to help their mother with this kind of celebration. And I know she didn't lie when she told us she just wants to pay respect to those who'll leave the castle whom she had a great memories with. She became close with them, especially to the little wolves.

I look at her and I know she is also avoiding Xerias stares as Xerias has been looking at her for such a long time and I know she is aware..
